My System
I have a MacBook Pro with two monitors. I run 3 external hard drives to store all my pictures.
Other Equipment
Heh, if it's a USB peripheral, I probably have it. Specifically: Wireless mouse, External keyboard (but not wireless as I hate the Apple wireless keyboard), Wacom Tablet, Card reader, Xacti HD video camera, CueCat, Nabaztag.
What I'd do differently
- I'd like to upgrade to a Mac Pro and use the MacBook as my backup/out of the office machine. I'm currently saving for one.
- I would definitely get a larger hard drive if one were available for the MacBook Pro (3 external hard drives is a bit insane, I think)
- And more memory - but I've maxed my current laptop out.
Is graphics your occupation or a hobby?
Mostly a hobby. I do Web design primarily, and I just enjoy working with graphics and video.
What type of graphic projects do you do?
Mostly photo blog applications - but I do some video and some photo manipulation. I'm also starting to get into digital scrapbooking.
What graphics software do you use?
Photoshop and iPhoto to manage the images.
Anything else? (inspiring music, your view, etc.)
Toys are essential. I also have my window open most of the time to hear the birds singing outside and sometimes the hawks.
