Here is a quick and easy tutorial which will show you how to make a fun photo frame for the summer. This tutorial uses one of the free grayscale masks available on this site. These masks were originally intended for creating a transparent edge effect on a photo, but as this tutorial will show, they can also be used to create unique frames when combined with layer styles in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. At the end of this tutorial, I will link to a several variations of other frame effects you can create with different grayscale masks.

I'm using Photoshop Elements for this tutorial, but you can also use Photoshop.
