Add a Graphic Watermark in GIMP

GIMP makes it very easy to add a graphic watermark to an image. This can be an easy way to discourage people from misusing your photos, by applying your own logo to your pictures. This doesn't guarantee that your images will not be misused, but the amount of time required to remove a semi-transparent watermark from a photo will discourage most cases of image theft.
