The Tool Panels, Brush Panel, and Color Pickers
As you can see from the screen shots, PhotoImpact offers a wealth of tools for all your image editing tasks.

In addition to the toolbar, PhotoImpact has an attribute toolbar that displays all the available options according to the active tool. Whenever any of the brush tools are selected (retouch, painting, clone, & stamp) you can also use the brush panel to customize various options.

PhotoImpact 6's Color PaletteIn addition to the standard color palette, there's the Ulead color picker for selecting colors in a number of different ways. Version 6 adds a check box for limiting your choices to the standard Web-safe palette as shown below.

The menu for choosing colors and fills from the attribute bar.Also, when a color choice is available for a specific tool, the attribute bar displays a color swatch which invokes a menu of color selections. The Color On Screen option is another new feature of PhotoImpact 6 which allows you to use an eyedropper tool to pick up a color displayed anywhere on the monitor, even if it's outside of the PhotoImpact application.
