Guide comments: Wildform SWfx allows you to easily generate custom text with hundreds of animated effects. SWfx is a standalone application where you enter your custom text, choose an effect, and set the properties for your movie file. The text effect can then be saved to SWF (Shockwave Flash) format ready to be used on the Web as-is, or imported into any SWF-capable application.
SWfx includes 300 effects. Flash is not required if you want to use the effects as-is; but if you do own Flash or another SWF authoring tool, you can create new effects plug-ins to reuse or share with other users. Wildform provides a tutorial that will help you begin building your own effects.
Even if you don't own a Flash authoring tool, this is a very easy-to-use tool to quickly create interesting animated text effects with virtually no effort. You can use any of your installed fonts with SWfx and customize the color, spacing, size, background, overall movie size, looping, and more. As you browse the effects, they can be instantly previewed in a second window before exporting them as a SWF file.
Wildform SWfx is offered as a demo download or an online demo. The demo allows you to browse the interface and effects, but saving is disabled. You may purchase the software for $29 US. A screen shot of the interface and several effects are displayed below.
