Many Fill Shortcuts
Save Time With These Fill Tool Shortcuts

Fill a layer with the foreground color using Alt+Backspace (Windows)/Option+Delete (Mac).

Fill a layer with the background color using Ctrl+Backspace (Windows)/Command+Delete (Mac).

Add the Shift key to preserve transparency while filling (only fills the areas containing pixels).

Use Shift+Backspace (Windows)/Shift+Delete (Mac) to open the Edit > Fill dialog.

Use Ctrl+Alt+Backspace (Windows)/Command+Option+Delete (Mac) to fill from the active history state.

Add the Shift key to preserve transparency when filling from history (not applicable to Elements).

Compatibility: Photoshop 5 and higher, Photoshop Elements
