How to Take a Screen Shot on iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

Did you know you can capture a screen shot from your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch without having to install any third-party apps? This allows you create a picture of anything displayed on the screen, no matter which app you have open. The screen shot is automatically saved and then you can share it by email or post it online.

You take a screen shot on the iPad the same as you do with any iOS device. The instructions are in the linked article: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/screencapture/qt/screen-shot-ipod-iphone.htm

I don’t see how this could still work. If I press and hold the menu button I get Siri!

Rodney, you need to press Lock+Home button at the same time, not just home button.
