My Photoshop Creation
Animated "birthday card".
How I Did It:
Created in Photoshop CS4.
This was only my second attempt at using animation, so I will try to describe as best as possible...
I used the animation (frames) panel and created the "Photoshop" slide in by using the tweening feature (tweened 50 frames in between the first & second).
Then used a tween to widen the gradient and added the confetti (slowly increasing opacity)
I then used a tween to bring the "happy 20'th !" from 0% opacity to 100 % opacity.
Lessons Learned
- How to use the animation (frames) panel.
Which products in the Photoshop family do you use?
I only use Photoshop CS4.
What was the first version of Photoshop you used?
Photoshop 4. I still have it on my old laptop. I never really learned how to use Photoshop until I took a class in CS4 last year, though.
What Photoshop feature has impacted you the most? Why?
Well, I would say that: "Layers are the best thing that ever happen to digital graphics!!!" We wouldn't be able to do 9 % of what we do without them.
But aside from that: layer masks & adjustment layers! (I love the non-destructive tools that Photoshop offers) Also, quick selection tools, etc...
Tell us about your experience using Photoshop.
I am a graphic design student, so I use Photoshop daily. I love it! Love the whole suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc...)
