This is still one of my favourite graphics programs even though it pops up an error due to being unable to update the registry as it opens. I have looked at more recent versions but none of them have any features that would convince me to upgrade since I only have minimal graphics needs.
Best Attribute:
All the options available in the screen capture facility that allow me to do captures of any part of anything that appears on my screen at any time.
Worst Attribute:
Version 5 gives an error when I open it on Windows XP home edition.
Was PaintShop a good value for the price paid?
Yes, since I got it free with a magazine and then got the update free with another magazine
In what ways do you use PaintShop?
Basic graphics editing, screen captures and resizing images.
