Version Reviewed (i.e. PaintShop Photo Pro X3):
PaintShop Photo Pro X3Approximate Date of Purchase:
November 2010My Review
The organizer is slow. It seems that every time one goes to a folder with photos it scans the folder and generates thumbnail over and over again instead of generating previews and storing them in a cache the way Adobe Bridge does.
Every time I go to a folder with photos (about 200 photos I've just downloaded from a camera) PSP hangs and is not responsive for quite some time. Adobe Bridge gives you some thumbnails nearly immediately and even though it initially also takes a time to generate previews it caches them so next time it displays them immediately.
The PSP borders on unusable for any serious photo work.
Best Attribute:
Okay for basic editing of small pictures.
Worst Attribute:
Slow. Very slow. So slow that it is unusable.
