Art Dabbler

By Sue Chastain, About.com

Art Dabbler

Art Dabbler is an entry-level natural painting program that was formerly published by MetaCreations. In 1999, MetaCreations divested itself of most of its graphics products, including Art Dabbler. Art Dabbler was since purchased by Corel. For a while ArtDabbler was available only as a bundled product, included with hardware products such as Wacom graphics tablets. It has since been replaced by Painter Classic and, later, Corel Painter Essentials.

For information about additional graphics software products that have been discontinued, changed names, changed ownership, or become otherwise obsolete, please see the main index.
