This is the resizing practice exercise for Photoshop Elements Basics Lesson 2: Working with Documents.

resize-practice.jpg - Download this file to your computer and open it in Photoshop so you can follow along with this exercise. You can save the image by right clicking and choosing "Save Target As..." or "Save Image As..."

Next I want you to duplicating the image so you're not working on the original. You do remember how to do that, don't you?

Make the document window as large as possible and choose View > Print Size. The image will display quite large and probably fill the entire document window. Practice panning with the spacebar shortcut we learned earlier.

Choose the Image Size command. Note the pixel dimensions of this image are 1600 by 1200 pixels. The print size is 22.222 by 16.667 inches with a resolution of 72 ppi.
