The first set of four buttons are typical "VCR" control buttons for moving through the photos manually or in a slide show. From left to right the buttons are: Previous Photo, Play, Next Photo, and Stop. The keyboard shortcuts are displayed in the tool-tip when you hold your cursor over one of the buttons.
