Emailing Photos from Adobe Photoshop Elements 3
Sending PDF Slide Show E-mail from Photoshop Elements 3

By Sue Chastain, About.com

Simple Slide Show (PDF) - If you know your recipient has the free Adobe Reader (version 6 or higher is required), you may wish to use this option to send the photos as a slide show. Multiple photos will be bundled together into one PDF file. The slide show will run automatically and it offers the recipient options to save or print the photos in your slide show. when you select this option, you'll need to enter a file name and select a size for the photos. The customize button just takes you to the E-mail Preferences which we discussed in a previous lesson. With the PDF option you won't get the estimated file size and download time until after you click the OK button, but you do have the option to click Cancel and adjust your options if it is too big, or click OK to continue sending the email.

The slide show option usually results in a larger file size then sending the same photos at the same size using individual attachments. The advantage is that users don't need to have a JPEG viewer or need to know how to open image files, because most computers now come with the free Adobe Reader.
