This tool could not have been made any simpler. You access it through the Standard Editor menu Enhance > Adjust Color > Adjust Color for Skin Tone. You'll see the dialog shown here and your cursor changes to an eyedropper. Simply click on an area of skin and the photo will be adjusted to improve the color. If you don't like the results, you can click a different area, or use the sliders to adjust tan, blush, and temperature of the skin tone. This feature worked very well in all my photos where there were skin tone problems.
