I've been an artist my whole life with an early start in traditional media, though over the past ten years, my artistic interests have switched from pencil and paper to graphics tablet and software. The ever-evolving world of digital art and design has captured my interest completely. As computers and software become more and more powerful, the possibilities for creativity increase exponentially, and I love being a part of the growing experience.
My work ranges across different disciplines. My days are spent painting, taking photos, designing for the Web, designing for print - all without film, paper or paint. Pixels are my playground, whether I'm in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Corel Painter or even Microsoft Word.
When not creating work for clients, I enjoy sharing what I do with others through classes, tutorials and articles. I teach occasionally at Digital Art Academy, have written for the official Corel Painter magazine, published by Imagine Publishing, Ltd. and publish tutorials on my blogs. Other classes and events are held live in my own studio or in various locations across the southeastern United States.
