Backlight (New to Eye Candy 5: Impact)

Backlight creates a variety of lighting effects in the forms of rays of light, light beams, and light filtering through the selected object. Lighting color is controlled through a gradient editor for infinite variety. Other options allow you to control the backlight direction, distance, expansion, mode (outline or fill), slices, blur, streaks, and streak size. Backlight can be rendered to a new layer, and features click-and-drag controls directly in the preview window.
