All of the options for the Page Curl plugin are presented in a single screen full of sliders and menus. Every imaginable aspect of the page curl effect can be manipulated and previewed from this screen. The plugin offers two effects modes: curl or fold. Fold creates a simpler "dog-eared" page effect. As you move the sliders, you quickly get a feel for what each option does just by watching the preview.
Page curl also gives you total control over the content of the front and back side of the "page" as well as the backdrop (what you see behind the curled page). Front or back content can consist of a solid color, the active layer, another document layer, or any other file. When choosing a file or layer as the page content, you can tile the image or size it to fit. The backdrop can consist of a solid color or layer, or may be left transparent. You can also adjust the opacity of the backdrop and page, and flip the page content horizontally and vertically. Once you're happy with your settings, click apply and the effect is rendered to the image in your host application.
All in all, I was quite impressed by the number of options and the ease of use of this plug-in. See related resources for a link to a screen shot and examples.
