Scroll down for some free layer styles for Photoshop 7, Photoshop CS, and Photoshop Elements 2.0 (or higher). These layer styles were created by John Woods who has offered them freely to the Photoshop community. To extract the files you will need an unzipping
tool such as Winzip or
ZipGenius.
Mac users can use Aladdin's free Stuffit
Expander. Consult your software help file for specific instructions
on unzipping files. Also see What's

Loading the
styles into Photoshop:
Place the files in the following folder and they will be available from the
layer styles picker menu the next time you start Photoshop:
(Photoshop 7.0) - Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Styles
(Photoshop CS) - Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS\Presets\Styles
(Photoshop
Elements 2) - Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2\Presets\Styles
To load a file, go to the Styles palette, then click the small arrow in the top right corner and choose one of the layer style collections from the menu. In Photoshop Elements, you can choose the style set from the menu at the top of the Styles palette.
