19.) Add a new layer above the bear and add it to the clipping group. Use a soft brush and white paint to paint some snow in front of the bear.
20.) Set the blend mode to dissolve on this layer and name it "snow front."
21.) Add another layer just below the bear and paint snow behind the bear. Set the blend mode to dissolve, opacity to 85%, and name the layer "snow behind."

22.) Use the eraser tool on these layers to clean up stray snow if you need to.
23.) Add another layer below the bear. Name this "snowflakes behind."
24.) Select the size 5 soft brush then click on the brush in the options bar an change the spacing to about 500%.
25.) Randomly paint snow all over this layer.
26.) Change blend mode to dissolve and reduce opacity to 50%.
27.) Duplicate this layer, drag it above the bear and name it "snowflakes front."
28.) Flip the layer horizontally (Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontally).
29.) Load the globe selection that you saved previously.
30.) Click on one of the snowflake layers and choose Filter > Distort > Spherize: Amount 100%, Mode Normal.

31.) Repeat for the other snowflake layer, then Deselect.

32.) If it seems like you added too much snow, use the eraser tool to remove some.
33.) Now we need to make the globe more glass-like. On the globe shape layer add a color overlay in a pale blue [210-243-255], Opacity 20%.

34.) Collapse the Globe Contents layer set. We're finished working with it.
