In 2001, the dot-com bubble burst and About.com cut its network down from nearly 800 sites to 400. Fortunately for me, the Graphics Software site survived the cut.
Digital photography was still booming, and in March of 2001 Adobe introduced Photoshop Elements 1.0, bringing Photoshop's tools to home users and hobbyists who wanted to work with digital photos and web graphics. Photoshop Elements replaced PhotoDeluxe.
