More Palettes and Reset to Default
7 more palettes
There are seven more palettes which can be hidden, floated or docked like all palettes. Go to View > Palettes to toggle visibility for each of these. Keyboard shortcuts are listed there too. Toggle docking in View > Docking Options.

Layers: PSP X now includes a thumbnail showing the content of each layer. You can turn the thumbnail off or change its size. To customize, do File > Preferences > General Program Preferences. Select Palettes from the list and set preferences in the 'Layer Palette' column. Check 'Right Pane' box to display controls for opacity, blend mode and layer linking in the right pane instead of above the layer buttons.

History: Allows you to undo/redo previous steps or create a 'Quickscript'. Go to File > Preferences > General Program Preferences and select 'Undo' from the list on left to customize undo settings.

Brush Variance: Controls brush and stylus settings and adjustments for pressure sensitive tablets. To 'Disable pressure support for puck-type pointing devices,' go to File > Preferences> General Program Preferences > Miscellaneous.

Other palettes include: Overview, Script Output, Histogram and Mixer. Not much customization here.

To reset Toolbars, Keyboard, Menu and Options: Right click and select Customize. There is a Reset button under each tab.

To reset Preferences: File > Preferences > Reset Preferences.

Want to reset default settings for everything? Hold down Shift when launching PSP X. All customization will be cleared and reset to default.
