In Animation Shop select File > General Program Preferences. Under the Layered Files tab check 'Keep layers as separate frames' and 'Preserve overall layer transparency'. OK.
Open the chalksig file. Preview your animation using the View Animation button on the toolbar or select from menu. View > Animation
Whoa Teacher is moving a little too fast! Let's slow it down. Close the animation preview and select every frame in the filmstrip. Edit > Select All
From the main menu select Animation > Frame Properties. Change the display time to 40.
Preview again. This slower speed is much better!
If you added the optional layer where teacher turns and faces you it might be nice to pause on that frame a little longer. Select just this last frame using Arrow tool.
Select Animation > Frame Properties again. Change display time to 360.
Preview again. If it looks OK proceed to Crop. If it doesn't experiment with different display times until it looks the way you want it.
The Crop tool is used to reduce the canvas size of your image which also reduces the file size. You should always crop your animations for the smallest file size. See next step.
