When done merge visible and your chalkboard is all done. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible
Oops... no we're not done... the chalk is black! That's not right! Use the paintbrush set at 2 pixels and white paint to change the color of the chalk sitting on the chalk ledge (see image above for placement).
Zoom in close! You'll need to click the 2 pixel brush about 6 times right on top of the black 'chalk'.
There! Now you have some chalk! Next we'll color in the teacher.
Select the separate image we made of teacher. Add a new raster layer and drag the layer button below the line art layer. just like we did for the chalkboard. Start coloring on the new bottom layer! Use the Paintbrush tool (size 2-4 pixels) and whatever colors you like! The image above may give you some ideas! Don't worry about getting exactly inside all the small parts of the hair... some stray color gives a little interest. And don't forget to use white to paint the pages of the book and the chalk in her hand!
When done select merge visible just like we did for chalkboard. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible In the next few steps we'll be pasting teacher into the chalksig image.
