Select the node at the bottom right corner of the blue rectangle and pull it horizontally to the right to make the bottom of boot longer. It will have a very pointy toe!
Add a node: Select the Pen tool. On the Tool Options palette select Mode:Edit. While holding down Ctrl key, left click on the line segment (halfway between the 2 corners) to add a node (+ADD will display next to your cursor pointer).
Change Node Type: Right click the node you just added, hover over Node Type until flyout menu appears. Select Cusp. Right click again, select Node Type, Curve After.
Select the node to display control arm. Move cursor over handle until cursor changes to 2 rotating arrows. Drag and extend the handle until the toe is rounded. The top handle will stay straight up.
Copy boot shape. Select Edit > Copy (a)From the text menu; (b) right click and select from popup menu; or (c) use Pick tool with Ctrl C.
Paste boot onto 2nd leg. Repeat for 3rd leg. Select Edit > Paste as New Vector Selection from (a) text menu; (b) right click to select from popup menu; or Ctrl G.
Make all adjustments to size or position of the legs or boots. Refer to Step 5 for how-to notes.
