Corel's Paint Shop Pro Photo is one of the fastest growing image applications on the market today without the hefty price tag. An image-editing program allows you to create and manipulate digital images and photos. Using Paint Shop Pro Photo you can create your own original artwork, make color adjustments, and retouch all those precious photos with just a few mouse clicks. Paint Shop Pro can be purchased through most retail stores and is also available at many online stores (compare prices). You can also download a 30-day free trial of Paint Shop Pro Photo from Corel.com if you'd like to work through this lesson before deciding whether to purchase the program.

Using a toolbar, various tools, menus and a variety of techniques, you can modify an image by resizing, rotating or adding text. In addition to that, Paint Shop Pro Photo helps you create and open different file formats, enabling you to create your own unique images, import them from a scanner or camera, or use files from outside sources.
