Begin Painting the Lighter Values

From the Brush Selector, select the Watercolor Wash Cloner, change the brush size to 30.0, and begin with an Opacity setting of 2%. Make sure that you click the Clone Color option on the colors palette.

With the Tracing Paper off, begin to paint over the main forms and the lightest values of the painting. When painting with these variants, focus on using a light hand, do not press heavily on your stylus. We are building the lightest values first. Each layer we add will continue to build the saturation of the paint. As you begin to paint you will notice that a new Watercolor layer is added.
