Now that you have completed the Auto-Painting effect, the last step is to develop some nice texture and add some of your own colors. Should you want to regain some of the detail in your painting, choose the Soft Edge Cloner Brush located on the Restoration palette. Or simply choose it from the Cloners Brushes. Keep the Opacity setting low and just softly bring back some of the lost detail. Stroke just on the edges of the flower petals as a suggestion. You will notice that it does not affect the texture of the painting, but rather softly reveals lost detail while retaining the brush texture you applied earlier.
Select the Square Chalk Variant from the Brush Selector and choose a complimentary color. Bring the Grain setting located on the brushes Property Bar down to about 7% and stroke in color in various locations within your painting. Notice how the paper texture reveals with Grain settings set low.
