Download the placecard template (Right-click > Save Target As...) and open it in Illustrator CS2. There are two layers in the file: the base layer and the fold line layer, which is instructions. Notice the instruction layer tells you to put all artwork below the fold guideline. Hide the instruction layer, and make sure base layer is active in the layers palette.
There are four cards on the page, two outlined in red, and two outlined in gold. You can select the individual cards by choosing them in the layers palette: upper left, lower right, upper right, or lower right. Use the swatches palette to change the colors of the outlines (or press delete to get rid of the outline, but they make a great guide for cutting the cards apart when done), or use the Stroke palette to change the width. Note the stroke is set to the inside of the card: this keeps one card from bleeding into another, and also keeps the inner corners square. Save the template under another name so you don't overwrite it.
