Step 10. Make a new image or work on clean area of the page. To make a stylized Christmas tree, change the fill color to green and set the stroke color to none. Use the pen tool to draw a tall triangle. Go to Effect > Stylize > Scribble and experiment with the settings until you like what you see. Add a brown rectangle and apply the scribble filter, changing the settings to fit the smaller shape. Changing the angle makes a big difference. Top your tree with a star and add other decorations if you like.
Save the image, and if you want, you can covert each of your drawings to symbols.
