Intuos4 works with the pen and digital inking capabilities built into Windows Vista (all versions except Home Basic), Microsoft Office 2007, and Mac OS X (Inkwell). These features allow you to use your Wacom pen and tablet for note taking, handwriting recognition, gestures, and digital inking.
In addition to the Wacom Control Panel included in the box, Intuos4 customers may download their choice of tablet-aware creative software as described below.
All Intuos4 owners will be eligible to download:

- Nik Color Efex Pro WE6
- Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 for Windows
- Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac
- Autodesk SketchBook Express 2010 (Windows or Mac)
- Corel Painter Sketch Pad (Windows or Mac)
