Types of Nodes - Symmetrical Node

Symmetrical Node
Symmetrical - A symmetrical node has two opposing control handles that form a straight line and are always the same length on both sides of the node. The direction handles move in unison, like a teeter-totter. The curve that runs through a symmetrical node is similar on both sides, however it will not be a mirror image because the curve is also affected by the nodes on the opposite end of each adjacent curve segment.
