About the image: This image started as photographs of different pieces of colored glass. I had no concept in mind. I started by extracting different shapes from the photos of the glass then started manipulating them with the liquify tool in Photoshop. As the image pieces took shape on individual layers I added the red and the texture to the background.

Photoshop because of its multitude of solutions for every problem.
