Type of graphics software user: Professional
Experience with graphics software: 4 years
Operating System: Windows
About the image: I mainly used just the pen tool of Illustrator CS. The glass has been filled with a mixture of just solid colour and gradient. No drawing tablets, just the mouse.
What graphics software do you use on a regular basis?
Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Professional
What was the first graphics program you learned?
QuarkXPress
What is your all-time favorite graphics program and why?
Adobe Photoshop. You can just do anything you want with it, and it produces files that are suitable for professional printing.
How do you use graphics software in your day-to-day activities?
Professional graphic design, the occasional fun project, like making my own wallpapers and similar stuff.
What is your best graphics tip or piece of advice?
Usually graphics software is used to communicate something. When you learn it, learn how to communicate first and use the graphics software as a tool to execute your message.
Where do you get your inspiration?
It depends. If I am doing a design project I try to get into my "audience" mind to get the inspiration. Try to find out what communicates to them. Otherwise, if I am just doing something for the sake of it, I get inspired by how I feel.
