Cybia Software offer a range of plugins for image editors, including Fotomatic which is a free set of eight filters that are designed to produce results similar to those that old film cameras produced. While these are Photoshop plugins, there are many image editors that are compatible with .8bf files. I've been using these in Irfanview.
