From the toolbox, select the polygonal lasso tool. This tool makes straight line selections by clicking the mouse to set corner points. Use this tool to make a selection of the excess photo which extends beyond the borders of the quick page cut out. When you get back around to the starting point, the selection will close automatically and you'll see the "marching ants" selection marquee.
Press delete to erase the selection.
Deselect by pressing Ctrl-D or choosing Select > Deselect from the menu.
Go to the next photo layer and repeat the select and delete steps.
