About the image: This project has been a real challenge for me because I am still learning how to use all of the tools and power of Photoshop Elements!
Starting with a copy of the original scanned photo, I have primarily used the cloning and healing tools, and also used the magnetic lasso tool combined with levels and/or hue and saturation. When I was not able to successfully recover damaged portions, I wound having to recreate sections.
Unfortunately, when I began this project, I did not use layers and did not save in .tiff format. As I worked on the photo and read the forum and other resources, I have become aware of how I "should" have worked and will be more disciplined in the future!
