About the image: I used Photoshop Elements to clean up this picture for a friend. It was the only picture she had of an Aunt who died. First I cropped the picture to get a good head shot. Then I used the clone tool to get rid of the double exposure ghosts. Next I selected around the person, and used the blur filter on the background to disguise more of the ghosts, and make the face stand out. Finally, I color corrected, and used the Unsharp mask on the person to even out cloning discrepencies, and flaws.

Depends on what I am working on...I mostly use Photoshop Elements, and Paint Shop Pro.
How do you use graphics software in your day-to-day activities?
I am a web designer, so I create graphics for my websites.
What is your best graphics tip or piece of advice?
Patience, patience, patience. Practice, practice, practice. Think of what you would do if you were using paints, scissors, and glue, and then recreate those steps digitally.
Where do you get your inspiration?
Everywhere. Sometimes images just scream to be retouched, or I get ideas on how to embellish photos from their content.
