Announced March 27, 2008, Adobe Photoshop Express Beta is a new web-based online photo service for storing, sorting, editing, and showing off digital photos. The service is free and offers 2 GB of online storage. It runs in a web browser using the Flash player which means anyone on any platform can use it (though a broadband internet connection is recommended). For its initial public launch, Photoshop Express is now available for US residents, in English, but will be expanded to a global audience later.
Unlike many photo-sharing services, Photoshop Express was designed as a "complete experience" where you can not only store and share your photos, but also edit them with a collection of 17 tools and effects. In addition, it can integrate with other online photo services such as Picasa, Facebook, and Photobucket.
