Here is a comparison chart detailing some of the technical differences between Intuos3 and Graphire4.

†Intuos Touch Strips are programmable and can be used for zooming, scrolling, changing brush size, moving through layers, and other operations. Graphire incorporates a tablet wheel used exclusively for scrolling (like a mouse wheel).

*Note: Intuos3 replaced Intuos2 for USB tablets in 4x5, 6x8, & 9x12 sizes. Intuos2 is available in 12x12 and 12x18 size models.
