This tutorial applies to both Zoner Draw 3 and Zoner Draw 4. This example showcases the power of the Shape tool for making text attractive. The goal here will be to give the text an "icy" look.

1. Draw the text and convert it to curves

1a. Use the artistic text tool to write the word POPSICLES. In our example pictures, the Arial Black font has been used.
1b. Select the text using the Edit tool, then convert it to curves by clicking the hammer [] button on the Alternate toolbar or use menu command Objects | Covert to Curves - Ctlr+Q (only version 4).
1c. Give the text a light-blue fill and a dark-blue pen.

2. Deform one letter
Select the first letter with the Shape tool [], zoom in on it, and select the bottom section. Click the [] button to change it to a bézier (i.e. a curved section). Add a node to the letter's bottom by clicking the [] button. Now you can start shaping the letter: click and drag either any bottom section or the guidepoints for a Bézier section. If you hold the Shift key as you drag, the change will affect just the section you drag, and not its neighbors.

3. Deform the remaining letters
Modify the remaining letters using the same approach. The bottoms of some letters are already curved, so you will need to add some nodes to make your "freezing" letters jagged enough.
