Interest/Experience with graphics software: Professional

Operating System: Windows 9x

I used Corel Photo-Paint, CorelDraw 9 and Microsoft Picture It 2000. I used the verse from Matthew as the theme which is about building things right so I picked the hammer and nail photos. I used Photo-Paint for masking out areas and for erasing and feathering the objects that I wanted to layer. I used the transparency tool and vignette quit a bit. I drew the rectangle shape the size I wanted the final to be, in Draw, and began to layer the messed with images. I converted it to a bitmap then I used Picture It! for the word border then put the last very transparent image on top.

What graphics software do you use on a regular basis?
CorelDraw 9, Photo-Paint 9

What was the first graphics program you learned?
Micrografx Draw 6

What is your all-time favorite graphics program and why?
CorelDraw 9, it is affordable and as far as I can see, almost as complete as the Adobe products. I don't know them as well, however I have used them. I use Pagemaker 6.4 in a part time typesetting job and always wish I could use Corel.

How long have you been working with graphics software?
Three years

How do you use graphics software in your day-to-day activities?
I e-mail photos, I maintain two web sites, I teach art and use it in bookmaking as well as collages that I sell.

What is your best graphics tip or piece of advice?
The About.com graphics forums have helped me, I would say use them.

Where do you get your inspiration?
From God, the Bible and nature-animals in particular
