Interest/Experience with graphics software: On The Job

Operating System: Windows 9x

Began with a stock photo of the flower. Cropped it, then added extra background to the left. Added text with bevel and drop shadow. Software Used: Paint Shop Pro, Eye Candy

What graphics software do you use on a regular basis?
Paint Shop Pro 7, Corel Photo-Paint, CorelDraw, Eye Candy, BladePro, Xenofex.

What was the first graphics program you learned?
Who remembers? LOL!

What is your all-time favorite graphics program and why?
Paint Shop Pro! It does almost everything the high-end graphics programs do, but costs far less. Also, there are many add-ons, picture tubes, etc., available, some at no cost. Also, using different layers makes it much easier to experiment and not mess up what you've already done.

How long have you been working with graphics software?
Ten years.

How do you use graphics software in your day-to-day activities?
To create custom graphics for web sites I design, to enhance my About Headaches/Migraine site, and to edit or prepare digital photos for printing. I no longer use a "regular" camera.

What is your best graphics tip or piece of advice?
Keep working and experimenting. For me, working with the software and images was the best way to learn.

Where do you get your inspiration?
Everywhere.

Photo was taken with my digital camera. Edited with PSP. The frame was done with BladePro. The poinsettia is from a PSP picture tube.

This is the opening screen for a hospital web site I design. Was created with their logo and digital photos using PSP.

This was created in PSP using an existing logo and adding various picture tube images. Layers were essential to this one.

This one was done in PSP and animated with their Animation Shop. Again, it depended on layers and picture tube
images.
