(If you arrived on this page from a search, you can start the tutorial on page one.)
Flowerbed
Create a new raster layer and name it Flowers 1. (This layer should be in front of the house and the shrubs.)Select the Flowers-multicolor tube. Change scale to 40-50%.
Stamp the tube randomly to place flowers along both sides of the path near the porch and along the front of the cottage.

Weeds
Create a new layer and name it Foreground. This layer must be on top of all other layers.Select the Weed Fields tube. Leave scale at 100%.
Place a few weeds along the bottom of the painting to add some foreground interest (see screenshot in step below). Just the top of the weeds should be showing. More weeds on left than on right....leave a space for the path.
Change to the Grass Blades tube. Change scale to 20-25% and scatter some green grass among the weeds.
More Flowers
Next we'll scatter some flowers among these weeds, but let's do it on separate layers in case we want to adjust position or color.Create a new layer in front of the Foreground layer and name it Flowers 2.
Change to the Dandelions-small tube. Leave scale at 100%.
Place just a few flowers among the weeds in the foreground...some on left, some on right.
Let's colorize these flowers to change them to some kind of almost-white wildflower.
Adjust>Hue & Saturation
Hue/Saturation/Lightness.
Drag Lightness slider to +65 and click OK.
Now add some more Dandelions, leave these yellow.
Add the suggestion of some leaves with Paintbrush tool.
Default round shape, size 8, hardness 50, step 25, density 50, thickness 100, rotation 0, opacity 100.
Use Eyedropper to pick some green from grass blades and place some splotches of green near the flower heads.
Add some more color with a few tiny wildflowers among the dandelions using the Paintbrush with same settings as above, except change size to 15 and density to 15. Use Eyedropper to pick some blues from the sky and place the wildflowers randomly among the leaves and weeds.
