Edges
Edges modifies the borders of a selection or
layer with decorative effects. You can choose from six edge
modes for this effect: Halftone Dots, Halftone Lines, Lumpy,
Pixels, Rough, and Torn Paper. Options allow you to control
the edge width, margin, feature size, direction and and shadow
color of the effect. A transparent fill option creates a transparent
edge effect.
This image shows four of the edge modes available. Clockwise
from top left: lumpy, halftone dots, halftone lines, torn.
Here the edge effect was used on text. Left to right: halftone
lines, pixels, halftone dots, rough.
Here the "lumpy" edge effect was used and then a border
stamp was added.
