KPT
Scatter
Distributes particles over a source image in a variety of ways
with control over placement, color, and shadow. Any transparent
image can be used as a particle.

The transparent flower was imported into the scatter filter
and scattered over my source image in this pattern. Controls
allow you to adjust the particle position, rotation, spacing,
orientation, density, hue, shadow, and more. Although I've only
used one particle per image in my examples, you can import up
to 25 particle images in a 5x5 grid.

Here I've used the same particle image, but varied the size
and density. This has to be my favorite of all the KPT Effects.
If you thought you liked Picture tubes or image sprays, just
wait 'til you try KPT Scatter! It provides so much more versatility
and precision than working with image sprays.

The particle in this image was a single partially transparent
colored orb. The color change was done by varying the hue in
the scatter controls. Because my particle image had transparency,
you can see the source image through the spiraling colored orbs.

Again, a single particle was used and the color was varied though
the scatter controls.

This is one of the preset effects applied to the same source
image. As you can see, the particle effects can be blended into
your original for more subtle effects.
