Gradient Lab
Design complex color blends and gradients by mixing shapes and
colors in multiple layers with advanced blending and precise
positioning.
Here you can see the control panels for gradient lab. The pattern
in the preview was created from the intricate blending of the
three layered gradients shown in the layers panel. You can control
the gradient shape, color, transparency, and blending. Multiple
gradient layers can be stacked, blended, and positioned for
infinite variety.
This began as a preset and was modified by changing the gradient
colors. There are more layers than those shown here. The layer
panel can be scrolled up and down to work with them all. The
buttons on the preview panel allow you to sample colors right
within the preview. The sampled colors replace the colors in
your selected gradient.
This began as another preset and then the hue of the two gradient
layers was adjusted. The pattern you see showing through the
green bars is from my original source image. There are 17 blending
modes and 13 shape styles that can be applied to your gradients.
