Ignite is a Web graphics optimization program with many additional features. Allows you to produce highly optimized, superior quality GIF and JPEG files. Includes an integrated GIF animator for assembling, previewing, and optimizing frame by frame animations. Built in image splitting feature allows you to divide your images into columns and rows and generates the HTML table code for your images. Split images can be saved all at once, or individually to different file formats. The interactive Inspector provides one-click access to the properties of the selected object where you can change properties, save settings, perform automatic optimizations, and more. The extended Web-safe color palette gives you access to 1331 non-dithering colors instead of the standard 216 by offering a selection of hybrid colors. Images can be previewed as they will look in a browser on a 256-color display, and a Mac preview mode is also available for simulating colors on a Macintosh. Ignite offers many features for importing and working with Photoshop files. A Mac version of Ignite is in development.
