Guide Review - Web Album Generator (Windows)
Web Album Generator is a free, easy-to-use utility for quickly generating Web photo galleries. Pages conform to XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS 2.0, which means they will be viewable in any Web browser. Page appearance is fairly basic, though you can customize the colors, thumbnail size, and photo size. Other elements of the album appearance are controlled through a stylesheet which you can customize if you are familiar with CSS. I particularly like the thumbnail navigation option which provides a filmstrip-style navigator without using frames. The software generates multiple index pages and directories, and all you have to do is upload the files to your server. A small text link to the author's site is added to the pages and can't be removed.
