Use the Scrubber Controls Instead of the Keyboard in Photoshop CS

Enter Numbers with a Mouse Using Scrubber Controls in Photoshop CS

By Sue Chastain, About.com

Photoshop CS has a new type of user interface control called "scrubbers" which are easily missed because they are not obvious. If you tend to use the mouse more than the keyboard, you're going to love these. They are available most places in Photoshop where there is a numeric entry field without a slider, such as the font size dialog, the layer opacity control, and many other places.

To use it, put your cursor in the numeric field, then move the cursor over the text label for the field and you will see the cursor change to a hand, with arrows pointing left and right. Simply click and drag to change the numbers in the field. Drag right to increase and left to decrease.

Have fun exploring all the places this new control is available in Photoshop CS.
